Sarah was nominated by our partners AWS, VMware, Computacenter and Perform Partners and shortlisted in five categories. Sarah works tirelessly in this space championing diversity and inclusion and advocating that diverse teams bring competitive advantage.
Sarah said "I was nominated along with over 800 plus others to this year’s Women in Tech Excellence awards. These awards are so valuable as they recognise top performing women from across the sphere of technology and provide that crucial inspiration for younger women looking to build careers in our industry. It’s so important that young women in our industry see women represented in senior roles."
Satty Bhens Chief Product and Technology officer for William Hill said of the win: "I’m thrilled to see Sarah recognised for her contribution; nominated by four of our partners and shortlisted in five categories. It’s well deserved. Women are under-represented at all levels in tech yet diverse teams, including gender are known to be higher performing, more creative and innovative. These awards and awards like them provide a valuable spotlight on the issue and Sarah’s recognition and her work in this space is a really positive step on our journey to create an inclusive company where everyone feels they belong."
